That’s “Munich loves bike share”, and that’s also irony.
Somebody in @heidelberg_de loves his or her bike.
They have bike share stations here, and station less bikes littered about as well.
Seems like a tough town for either business model, as they presume the existence of a large population that doesn’t already have bikes.
Whatever rules I follow, they’re bike rules.
I’m pretty sure we’ve written about this design before, but I’m too lazy to check. Seen in the wild today in Grand Central Station. The thing looks to weigh at least 30 pounds and the rider had to lug it up a long staircase before he could use it.
About a year ago, I noticed that there was a battle for taxi drivers.
The “yellow” industry posted this “Drive Yellow, Earn Green” ad on the back of a NYCT bus in an attempt to attract drivers. I then noticed that the whole taxi industry is using this space.
Here are the ads I’ve seen… I find it comical that one form of transit is advertising on the back of their competition.
I’m guessing this battle will continue until the driverless car is introduced.
Update 11/21/16 – I found three more
Interesting idea. I just hope they don’t detach mid-stride.
